Night ocean I, diptych
"I have been feeling very clearheaded lately and what I want to write about today is the sea. It contains so many colors. Silver at dawn, green at noon, dark blue in the evening. Sometimes it looks almost red. Or it will turn the color of old coins. Right now the shadows of clouds are dragging across it, and patches of sunlight are touching down everywhere. White strings of gulls drag over it like beads. It is my favorite thing, I think, that I have ever seen. Sometimes I catch myself staring at it and forget my duties. It seems big enough to contain everything anyone could ever feel.”
-Anthony Doerr, All the Light We Cannot See
I am a Slovak painter and art therapist based in Prague who focuses mainly on expressive abstract oil painting. I have always believed art is an extraordinary tool for self-transformation, and so my creative process is an intuitive, balancing act where I constantly lose and find myself over and over again.
My belief in art’s ability to heal and awaken has motivated me to lead regular individual and collective art therapy and children’s workshops for adults and children alike so I can share with them this gift.
I am proud to say my artworks are part of private collections all around the world and has been part of international exhibitions in many parts of the world including Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Germany, and the USA.
