This painting represents an urge for a colorful bunch of flowers, nothing too much sophistical and philosophical. I love going to markets in spring to buy local flowers from fields and gardens, so I wanted to have one bunch of flowers forever, my own way, with loads of colors and layers, also with regard to the typical representation of flowers and still lives that have been here for centuries, to have my own version of a vase with flowers. And lastly, to remember my amazing art teacher who would love it, I still keep a painting which I did when I was 12, you can really tell which parts he did – he was so full of colors and energy.
