Upside down Abstract VIII
A painting from the series of abstractions in the spirit of Pure Form, the author continues the thought of the outstanding Polish art theoretician, Stanisław Ignacy WItkiewicz, Witkacy, basing his abstract actions on metaphysics in art. Object in very good condition, does not require renovation, the painting is not framed, the edges of the canvas are painted in the tone of the work, signed on the reverse. Date of creation 2016, 30x40cm format, acrylic on canvas technique, painting protected with varnish.
The theme of the painting is lightness. By levitating, the elements of the work form a composition. Delicate diagonal directions are definitely limited by a turquoise rectangle, softly delineated by a color spot. A glare dazzles the central object behind, giving it the impression of a levitating solid. Somewhere in the middle, in the center, you can see a brooch in the shape of a child's toy, a teddy bear, this element is in the center, but it is surprisingly inconspicuous and invisible at first glance, perhaps because of its color - lemon yellow is a strong contrast to turquoise.
